Camper descriptions
The Knaus SportTraveller 590, 8 January 2017, available in Greece-AthensThe Knaus is a compact format conventional RV with a length of 5.80 overall making it a prime suspect for paying the lowest fare tolls and low ferry tickets. In this compact format there is space for: A double alcove bed (1450x2000), an extendable dinette (1350x1950), a 3 herd gas stove, a microwave grill oven (only 220 V), a bathroom with shower, hot water gas boiler and very efficient gas heated duct air. Also 80 liter fresh water tank and 100 ltr grey water tank.

This little gem is also equipped with two gas bottles and a obscuring vertical roman blind behind the driving compartment.
What are the upsides of compact campers?
1. More stable when cornering, larger campers have a tendency to roll quite a lot.
2. Lower fares on toll roads and boats.
3. Can be parked in most normal parking spaces.
4. Easier to reverse.

| The sweet Hymer Exsis |
Starting with the Hymer Exsis SK: Currently sleeping in sweet winter hibernation at Bromölla Caravan Centre at Bromölla in southern Sweden. You can see it from the motorway, if you pass by.
Being an avid fan of compact and inventive solutions the Hymer lights all my bulbs, or LED:s if you wish. It was made only during six years and started life in a custom, highly secret factory of its own.
The Hymer Exsis SK has its own user club and a massive following. What makes it special is its luxurious base configuration (huge roof window, electrical windows, AC, remote central locks, aerodynamic front) and of course, the fact that it is not a rebuilt van but still no wider than a van.
Feels much like driving a car. No wonder the test results are top notch. Still, price was a bit too high for the average buyer so the Exsis SK was discontinued.

The current status
The status now is that the add ons are coming in place: The flexible 40W solar panels with regulators have just been mounted. The GPS trackers are new arrivals, from China, they are also supplied separately by me and they will be priced around 700 sek, but first they will be rigorously tested. The mini alarm units have arrived as has the oil for the pre-use oil change. The engraving machine is ready and purring, the Hymer will be engraved with the registration number in 30 places, all on metal. The registration number will also be painted on the roof with big black letters, everything to make presumptive thieves lose their interest.
The video and condensed written manual of the Hymer are on the way.
The Hymer will be ready to test drive as of April 1st. Very Welcome!
